Instagram scheduler
Schedule Instagram posts in advance. Publish feed posts to a Business or Creator account automatically, and read the insights afterwards.
Connect an Instagram account and feed posts publish at the times you scheduled.
What publishes automatically
One kind of post goes here: the testimonial. It publishes automatically at the scheduled time.
Instagram publishes in two steps: the image or video is uploaded and prepared first, then published. Nothing is visible to anyone until the second step, which means a failure during preparation is safe to retry and never leaves a half post on your profile.
Comments and reposts are not offered on Instagram. There is no API for either, and rather than list them and have them fail, the composer does not offer them.
You need a Business or Creator account
Instagram only allows publishing through its API from a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page. A personal account cannot be connected, and this is Instagram's rule rather than ours. Switching is free and takes a minute in the Instagram app.
Limits
Captions run to 2,200 characters. Every post needs an image or a video, so a text-only card cannot be scheduled to Instagram, and the composer says so while you are writing rather than at the scheduled time.
The preview shows the crop Instagram will apply, which is the thing most worth checking before a launch.
Numbers
Posts on Instagram are measured 30 times: about an hour, a day and a week after publishing.
What you connect
Connecting asks Instagram for your account's basic profile, permission to publish content on your instruction, and permission to read the insights for posts you published.
