Plans and limits
What each plan includes, what a workspace can do without one, and why only automatically published posts count against the caps.
The plans
| Starter | Team | Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $29 | $49 | $149 |
| Annual | $290 | $490 | $1,490 |
| Launches scheduled at once | 3 | 10 | 50 |
| People per launch | 25 | 100 | 500 |
| Automatic X posts each month | 100 | 750 | 3,000 |
| Of those, carrying a link | 15 | 25 | 60 |
| Media library storage | 10 GB | 50 GB | 250 GB |
| Your own email address on launch mail | No | Yes | Yes |
| Write your own scheduled emails | No | Yes | Yes |
| People reachable by your own email each day | Not available | 1,000 | 5,000 |
Annual is two months free. There is a 14-day trial, once per workspace. Larger rosters and procurement-led buying have an Enterprise option, and the pricing page has the address.
Drafts are unlimited. Scheduling is the chokepoint: build as many launches as you like, and have 3 scheduled at a time on Starter.
Without a plan
A workspace that has never subscribed is not locked out. It can:
- write and schedule its own posts, with no limit and no plan
- create launches, write the announcement, and build the whole run of show
- let up to 10 people join a launch and write their posts
What it cannot do is schedule that launch to publish. That is the paid step, and it is the only one.
Two things about that boundary. Nothing publishes without scheduling the launch, the assisted route included, because a reminder to publish by hand is sent off the same schedule. So there is no way to run a launch for free by having everyone publish manually.
And a workspace whose subscription has ended is a different case from one that never had a plan. Its roster freezes and the workspace pauses until it renews, rather than dropping to the free tier.
The two X numbers
They are one allowance, not two: a post carrying a link counts against both.
X charges thirteen times more for a post with a link in the body, and shows it to fewer people, so the link belongs in a reply you publish yourself rather than in the post.
Only automatic posts count. A post published by hand is free, is never counted, and is the way past any of these caps without upgrading.
A failed payment
A failed payment does not break a running launch. The subscription still counts as usable and you get a banner.
If it actually lapses, scheduled launches are paused rather than deleted, and everything is restored when you resubscribe.
